LOS ANGELES - Pregnancy has been an engaging experience for Jessica Alba.

The 26-year-old actress, who announced earlier this month that she’s expecting, is now engaged to her boyfriend and the baby’s father, producer Cash Warren.

“I can confirm that they are engaged,” Alba’s publicist, Brad Cafarelli, said in an e-mail to The Associated Press on Thursday.

The couple is expecting their first child in late spring or early summer, Cafarelli said.

Alba stars in the thriller “Awake,” and recently appeared in “Good Luck Chuck” and “The Ten.” The sex symbol first gained fame as an action star on TV’s “Dark Angel,” then in films including “Fantastic Four” and “Sin City.”

NEW YORK - Sean Penn and Robin Wright are splitting up.

Their publicist tells People magazine’s Web site that Penn and Wright are divorcing after 11 years of marriage. She didn’t say why.

Penn and Wright have two children. Hopper Jack is 14 and Dylan Frances is 16.

People.com reports that Penn, 47, and Wright, 41, began dating in the early ’90s and married in 1996. They also have starred together in several films, including 1998’s “Hurlyburly” and 1997’s “She’s So Lovely,” directed by Nick Cassavetes.

It’s the night before Halloween that continues to haunt Rebecca De Mornay.

The 48-year-old actress was charged Thursday with driving under the influence in connection with her Oct. 30 bust following a traffic stop, according to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.

De Mornay is scheduled to be arraigned Monday on counts of DUI and driving with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08 percent or above, both misdemeanors. She does not have to appear in person.

Beverly Hills police said at the time that the Hand that Rocks the Cradle star was pulled over near Sunset Boulevard at about 10:30 p.m. after committing an unspecified traffic violation. Officers “immediately detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage,” spokesman Lieutenant Tony Lee said, and promptly administered field sobriety tests, which De Mornay did not pass.

She was taken into custody and released after being cited for DUI. Authorities said that her blood-alcohol level registered at 0.09 percent, slightly above California’s legal 0.08 limit.

De Mornay most recently appeared in the surf-centric HBO series John from Cincinnati and the skateboarding film Lords of Dogtown.
